Nanthayod Termkoh - Asia-Oceania Five Universities Alliance (AOFUA) Camp Down Under (July 2025)

During the camp, I experienced working together with people from different cultures and backgrounds and gained skills for working with people internationally in the future."

Anonymous -  Asia-Oceania Five Universities Alliance (AOFUA) Camp Down Under (July 2025)

"It was amazing. It was more than just learning, it was building connections and understanding the culture of the host university and my fellow exchange students."

Aaron Crosby - Clinical Placement - Bali (September 2024)

"I approached the program with the expectation that it would provide me with valuable hands-on experience in a real-world clinical setting, helping me to build confidence and enhance my paramedic skills. Throughout my placement, I applied advanced paramedic knowledge, collaborated with healthcare professionals, and gained insight into patient care across a diverse range of medical conditions. I was able to make informed, independent decisions under supervision, develop better communication skills, and grow in cultural competency.

This experience has been instrumental in bridging the gap between theory and practice, helping me understand the complexities of patient care and furthering my professional development as a paramedic."

Helen Claxton, MEXT Study Tour - Japan (December 2023)

"The tour offered invaluable insights into Japanese culture, fostering cross-cultural understanding. Networking opportunities were abundant, creating professional connections and knowledge exchange. The meticulous planning and seamless coordination significantly contributed to a smooth and enriching experience. The diverse range of activities catered to various interests, ensuring a well-rounded exposure."

Mia Freeman – Global Futures Virtual Program (December 2023)

“I decided to take the Global Futures unit to widen my understanding and knowledge base of diverse global cultures and issues. The program allowed me to explore topics that deeply interest me but I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to research during my degree. My favourite part of the program was the collaborative project where my group discussed how men and women’s lives differ in our countries. This opportunity to collaborate and connect with international students was extremely valuable and allowed me to gain an insight into how gender issues impact fellow students individually and collectively within their communities. The program certainly broadened my professional and personal perspectives and led to many new friendships. I would absolutely recommend Global Futures to every student; there are so many different opportunities to grow in just two weeks!”
